We will be running competitons before the event and on the day, details of these will appear here. If you have any prizes to donate for these please contact BlytheCon.

Look-alike Competitions 19/7/10 Joanne

There will two Look-alike competitions on the day:

Best Mini me:
Blythes will need to look like their owners, the more detail the better!

Best Film character:
Blythes that look like a character from a film. This can be as mainstream or obscure as you like, all we ask is that you bring along a still photo of the character your Blythe is supposed to look like.

Christel (A Small World Girl) will be running a tombola for prizes at BlytheCon. Tickets will be available on the day.

Blythe and Your Country: Photo Competition 11/7/10 MizKitty

You can interpret this however you choose so I hope you have fun planning your photos over the summer.

Here is the info you need; please ensure you have read this bit:

when you have bought a ticket you can submit one entry to the group pool marking it clearly as a submission for the competition.
the closing date is Sunday September 19th at midnight UK time.
after the closing date myself and Jo will choose a shortlist of 10 of the photos.
I will have the shortlisted photos printed out and mounted and they will be displayed at BlytheCon. You can then vote for their favourite on the day and the one with the most votes gets a prize.

We are very excited about seeing your photos!

Blythe Fashion Show 9/7/10 Haunts Hold

Needle and thread at the ready, there will be a fashion design competition at BlytheCon! You can design any outfit you like, dress, top and trousers etc and there will be prizes for the winners. Entry will only be open to those who have bought a ticket to BlytheCon and stall holders (But not me as I'll be counting the votes) Simply bring along your wearable garment on the day, where it will be displayed on a mannequin, and the BlytheCon crowd will do the voting.

Mannequins will look like this:

They only have half a head so no hats please :)

Each mannequin will have a number so that voters can indicate their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice. Also your name/flickr name/shop name will be displayed along side your creation too. If you want to enter, let me know here, or send me a FM.

Prizes for this competition include ribbon and material packs from the wonderful people at Volksfaden
