We will be running several workshops and demos about customising your Blythe. If you are a customiser or would like to do a demo please contact us.
Jodie will be customising dolls at her table from 11am-2pm. You can drop by and watch her techniques and ask her any questions you might have on any aspect of customising, from the basics to airbrushing and lip carving.
Bring along an RBL Blythe and some new eye chips, and jaszmade will show you how to change eye chips, boggle, gaze correct and give new lashes, based on her wonderful tutorials on her website.
Leo will be giving a talk about how to deal with some of the smaller common Kenner problems such as detangling and removing small blemishes.
Come along and learn to knit for Blythe with Rosesblytheknits! You'll be taught all the techniques you need to get you started such as casting on, basic stitches, casting off and understanding patterns. You'll also be given your very own needles and yarn to practise with. If you'd like to sign up please go here or email Lucy. The Rosesblytheknits stall will be manned by knitters all day so feel free to drop by if you have any questions!
Sarah will be demonstrating the lock and loop technique for rerooting, and thatching the part line. She will also show how to use the secure knots technique.
Leo will be demonstrating the following techniques for making Blythe clothes:- Collars: round, pointed, turtlenecks
- Pintucks
- Sleeves/cuffs: puffy, bishop
- Lining: full and partial
- Pleats
- Gathering
